The Snow Queen

Winter is here, and all the little children eagerly anticipate the coming of the Snow Queen, waiting for her to fly over their town and wave her magic wand and sprinkle everything with lovely, twinkly white snow. They know that if she's in a good mood she'll give them enough snow to call off school!

I have no idea what I'm talking about, but... tomorrow is my 2nd DA-versary!!! I can't believe it's been 2 years since that fateful day when I signed up. And I didn't mean for it to be, but after I started working on this piece, I realized how similar in some ways it was to the very first piece I ever did with a tablet: [link] Ha! Ha! Wow. So anyway... this became something of an homage to my very humble digital beginnings.

This was drawn in ink, pencil, and blue Sharpie, then scanned in and colored and textured in Photoshop.
