Yes, I know this is early. BUT!

Happy Valentine's Day! To all my friends, watchers, commenters, fave-ers, or to anyone who happens to be innocently moseying through my gallery.

This wasn't originally intended to be a V-day thing at all. It was intended to be something to keep my occupied while I waited in the living room for my roommate to get out of the shower and unlock the door to our room. Anyway. When I started coloring it all pink and purple, it became a Valentine, and here is my Valentine message to all of you:

Enjoy this lovely holiday, whether you have "someone" to "spend it with" or not. If you do, I am very happy for you, and enjoy the flowers. But if you do not, don't be sad - but don't get mad either. Don't parade around, bitterly declaring to the world how much this holiday sucks and how much it needs to just die. Enjoy it for what it is! It's about love. And it doesn't have to be the love of a boy or a girl or a spouse or what-have-you. Just love. Love your friends. Love your family. Love your cat. Love your neighbor. Love that smelly kid on the bus, but maybe from a distance. Love nature. Love that super amazing song by your favorite band. Love someone who needs it. Love yourself. Love love love until the whole world is filled up, brimming over and spilling down the sides with LOVE.

(what all this has to do with the actual picture itself, i'm not completely sure, but it sure was a nice message, wasn't it?)
