This is an illustration based on the marvelously magical music of Eisley. There's stuff in here from almost every song on the album "Room Noises" although I don't know if anyone but me would be able to figure out how each song relates to the stuff in the picture. But oh my goodness they came out with a new CD like two days ago and I haven't bought it yet!!!
I started this so long ago and I'm glad I finally finished it but I'm not sure it's really truly finished. I had some trouble integrating the digital with the traditional, so maybe I'll fix this up later.
the composition of the drawing is really good! i like the way the sun fills the sky and how the trees are all curvy like in an old forest. my only critique is that this would look so much fuller with deeper colors
This is so gorgeous! I absolutely love the colored pencil look to it. I bet you could very easily have a career as a children's book illustrator. Publishers almost always look for that kind of detail in their pictures. And you've got a great children's literature style, both to the way you draw and the way this is colored.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
